Would you rather have your baby love the pacifier or hate it?

I'd rather my baby hate it. Thumbs never get lost, physically can't be sucked on as often/much as pacifiers, are wholly in Baby's control, and can't be yanked prematurely away because Mom decides Baby is too old. They're a much better deal all around than pacifiers.
