I need help with my ipod wifi?!?

Okay. i got an ipod 4G today andd i was trying to hook up wifi. my gma doesnt have wifi at her house. waht should i do? how do i get internet? I was thinking about hooking it up to the computer and getting wifi...but how do you do that?!?!?!?!?!
