Facebook virus April 6 2011 photoshop?

i got this sent to me via facebook IM from somebody on my friends list that i never even added. anyway... this is the msg "hey, i made a photoshoped version of you, check it out :P: bit.ly/ieHQqe" can u tell me anything about this type of link? after i clicked it it immediately went into system shut down and improper start up telling me my software was jacked up. So any advice would be awesome! thanks!
