Spanish and french vocab question?

(the question is coming for the french so don't think this is just about spanish) Well im currently in Spanish 1 at my high school and it doesn't seem like that tex-mex (i think it is called that) spanish but we are learning the proper Spanish my teacher says so anyway, Next year I want to take Spanish two and French 1 so I was wondering what do you think I will learn in spanish 2. Can you give me some info to get me ahead for next year. :) Also in french 1 what do you think I will learn in french 1? Do you have any info that would put me ahead int hat. Thanks so much.
