What is a computer system?

Computer system refers to the whole thing, all the components. Computer are made of three basic components you must always have, a CPU (or processor), a motherboard, and RAM (Random Access Memory). These components are what make the computer a computer. However, computers nowadays come with a series of extra equipment, called peripherals, which include the graphics card, the hard disk drive, etc. These are not necessary but if they happen to be in the computer they are also considered part of the computer system.
