i really think he likes you. Anything about eyes is a sign. He seems to really like talking to you and when he tells jokes he might be trying to impress you. Just keep getting more and more friendish with him (sorry about friendish, i couldnt word it) he willl maybe get the courage to ask you out. If any of your friends are tight with him, maybe they could ask him and they can tell you what he says.
