What are the positive and negatives about renting to a section 8 tenant?

I've heard stories and I'm quite scare at this point. I would like to know what are the ups and downs about renting to a section 8 tenant. I just bought a new home and I want to make sure that the income is steadily coming in. ANY advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
