My mother doesn' t listen?

My husband and i are raising our son the way we wanted to and we know what is best for him but when our son goes over his mom and dad's house she doesn' t do one thing that we do. we don't give our son the pacifier unless he is really fussing but his mom gives him the pacifier even thought he doesn't want and we tell her that we only give it to him when he fussy and all of the time her respone is well you (to her son) always wanted your pacifier, when we put him down to sleep he makes noise when he sleeping, his mom will pick him up at every noise he makes we tell her he is ok and if something was wrong he will let us know, she said will he was making noise and me to that mean there is something wrong. My mother in law does thing her own way and not ours because she thinks she knows best but we tell her he our son we know what best. But she doesnt' listen. want should we do.
