My Army Recruiters told me to lie what should I do :(?
I was very concerned when I read your heading question, because your Recruiter could get in serious trouble for that advice. To set your mind at ease, your Recruiter did not tell you to lie, he simply he told you not tell MEPS about the rock throwing incident; in this instance, omission is not the same as telling a lie. However, if it makes you feel better, and you want to give a smile to the MEPS personnel, tell them about it. If you do confess, the MEPS interviewer will have an amusing story for the next time they talk about people trying to enlist with a criminal record: “I had a woman who was arrested for prostitution.” “I had a drunk who was arrested for shooting up a bar.” “I had a gang member who was arrested for manslaughter.” “I had a little boy who was arrested for throwing a rock.” I agree with your Recruiter on this one.
