Why are s so violent?

A friend of mine was attacked during the last election by a because she had a Yes on Prop 8 bumper sticker, the kicked her, ripped the bumper sticker off her car and screamed bigot at her. Last week I was sitting in my office and two men walked up they asked me if I was the Therapist that treated their friend who was suffering from SSA, before I was able to say anything they sprayed paper spray in my eyes and thrashed my office, they were arrested. Today I was reading the local news and it said a group of gays and s took to the streets in my hometown in protest of a local church that supported prop 8, claiming they are wicked and a cult. What is wrong with these people, don't they know that it's just this kind of behavior that makes people hate them?
