Need some ideas for an art ignment?

If you are using a big piece of wood you could look into wood burning too... It gives it a very nastolgic look.... If it's about your grandparents, I would put in anything that reminds you of them.. down to candy they use to give you, how they impacted your life as an artist supporting you.. maybe giving you those first crayola crayons ya know. Sometimes all those little things bring the story together. After all you are telling the story now. Other example... books you use to read, pictures you took.. (polaroids might be kinda cool if you have any of those), maybe a game you use to play, music, movies/actors/cartoons..... When you are out and about, what do you see in life that reminds you of them. Those are the things that mean something to you. Good luck! Sounds fun!
