Need Dry Basement solutions for the do-it-yourself-er.?

My husband and I are fixing up a house that has a wet basement. We have seen products (like the ones from Basement Systems) like the WaterGuard under floor piping system and the CleanSpace Wall System, which is a reinforced plastic liner to stop water vapor from permeating the walls. Is there a way to buy similar products ourselves and install?
